Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2 October 2026

Proof (“Proof”, “we”, “us”) is a progress-tracking app made to be private from the start. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our waitlist, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We’ve written it to be read. If anything is unclear, or you’d like a copy in another format, contact us at andrew@iamproof.app.

1. The short version

  • We keep your email so we can tell you when Proof launches.
  • No cookies, no ads, no analytics, no trackers.
  • We never sell your information, or share it for advertising.
  • Proof is designed so your scans stay on your phone.
  • You can leave the waitlist, and have your details deleted, whenever you like.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, iamproof.app, and the Proof waitlist. When the Proof app launches, its own privacy details will be added here and shown in its App Store listing before you download it.

3. What we collect

When you join the waitlist

  • Your email address, which you give us.
  • When you joined.
  • Roughly where from: your country and city, worked out from your internet connection when you sign up. Your IP address itself is not stored.
  • The kind of device you used, such as iPhone, Android, Mac or Windows.

When you browse this website

Nothing is collected about you. There are no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Like every website, our hosting provider handles the technical information your browser sends to load a page (such as your IP address) so it can deliver it securely.

Your scans

Proof is designed so your body scans stay on your phone. Nothing about your body is collected through this website or the waitlist.

4. How we use it

  • To tell you when Proof launches, and about the app, by email.
  • To decide where to launch first, from the countries and devices people join from.
  • To keep the waitlist working and free of spam and abuse.

We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that run Proof for us, and only so they can do that:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website and handles waitlist sign-ups.
  • Notion, where the waitlist is kept.

We would only disclose information beyond this if the law required us to.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising or social media trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies’ servers. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is remembered in your own browser for the visit and is never sent to us.

7. Security and how long we keep it

Your information is sent over encrypted connections and kept in services with access limited to the Proof team. We keep your waitlist details for as long as the waitlist runs, or until you ask us to delete them.

8. Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask what information we hold about you, and for a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct it.
  • Ask us to delete it, and leave the waitlist.
  • Object to how we use it.

Just contact us (section 11). We’ll do it promptly and free of charge. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Proof isn’t meant for children. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, contact us and we’ll delete their details.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this policy and the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email before it applies.
